paint fumes

we just painted the first floor of our new house. we have tanks at our old apartment that need a water change. my question is will i have any problems mixing saltwater over night in a room that smells fairly strong of paint fumes?

yes, If the fumes are strong, they can get into the mix and well enough said. put a lid on it after you make it. if you can mix it and not aerate it, that would be great.
