I'm in Ohio like you, so it won't be 70 for quite sometime. I am going to pait it on my porch and the bring it inside after to dry.

What is the temp up that way? If it's too cold, the paint is going to crackle and clog, and it won't turn out well at all.
If you don't have an enclosed space to paint in that is a little warmer, might be a good idea to wait for a nice sunny day.

Spray Paint is your best bet!!!! Trust me...I work with paint quite a bit. Paint it like you would a car almost. use the can like a brush. dont keep spraying. spray wit each stroke. give it about 4-5 light coats. Krylon brand is best!!!! If you think its too cold, plug in a heater next to it. Just make sure that the glass is as dry as it gets.

i spray cars for a living and ive painted glass extensivly......before u paint the glass you need to prepare the surface.....if you dont scuff glass it will peel ......trust me......you need to go over the glass with steel wool......it will scuff the surface with extremly fine scratches which the paint will fill into and stick.....if you dont scuff that glass you will constantly have peeling problems.......hope this saves you some aggrevation in the future..
