Whats the best way to paint the back on a glass aquarium??

I used spray paint for my 29 but I'm thinking about just using a roller for my next tank.

99 cent Walmart Spray paint.

will it work if i get normal paint from a paint store and use a roller? and if it dosent work it will scrape off right?

If the tank is glass then yes.

I just bought a little can of black acrylic paint and painted it on with a sponge brush. It took about 3 or 4 coats but it looks pretty nice. and yes the paint can peel off, but if you don't intentionally pick at it, it should be fine

for spraypaint, ive heard Krylon Fusion works nicely. but ive never used it personally.

hey matt i have painted 3 tanks all that i used is like flat black paint and a spont roller any more question just pm me

i used automotive window tint, it is easy to apply

I used home window tinting .. special stuff but it is thicker and jet black .. I also used black silicone all aound the edges of the film to prevent salt creep .

I went to a crafts store and bought paint they use for ceramic cups. A roller and 3 coats did the job, good luck..

what I did was take a piece of quarter inch luan plywood and cut it to fit between the plastic rails on my tand then painted it black then I jus slid it in place and used velcro strips to hold it till my coralline takes over

I Paint Cars For A Living And As Long Nothings Rubbing Or Sliding On The Glass You Should Be Good With Just A Spray Bomb (krylon). If You Spray It On When The Day Comes When You Want To Take It Off It Will Be Easier Than With A Roller, But Just Be Careful Being On Glass Will Run Easier. I Hope This Helps
