It looks realy cool!!! I have a question though. Does it help the fish in the tank?? Or is it just for your own looks? Right now I am a month and a half into setting up a 29g and it just has a clear back. Should I be thinking about painting the back of my tank??

I am not too sure if it helps with them or not. I just like it cause it hides the cords and such. and it makes the coral stand out more in my opinion.

Damn why cant I see most of the pictures that people post? Is it cause im new?

Anyways are yall just talking about painting the outside of the tank on the back?

I just got done painting my 165 gallon yesterday. I will add some pictures later. Since I took them off my iPhone at the moment.

I am just waiting to get one of my buddies to help me turn it around. But, right there is fine at the moment.

so, do you guys clean the back of your tank? It only seems to take a few months and my back is so covered in algae (hopefully coraline) that it would not matter if the back was painted or not.

I leave the back and sides, free fish food. No it doesn't matter if it's painted, eventually coralline is on everything.

Great work Jess and Nizz. That dual tone looked pretty cool. Would all be a waste of time unless you kept it clean. I went with black because meowzer told me I had to. Its all but covered with stuff now.
