I am going to paint the backside of my 125gal tank. What color would be best. I have only seen black or blue. But what about white to reflect the light back into the tank?

I just set up my 125 this past weekend and asked the same question and didn't get a response.
I think I am going with black or a very dark blue, either will add depth.

dark blue will add depth, i went light blue almost white, all it is now is a huge algae magnet, wish i never had done it. it reflects so much light that algae grows on it in a matter of 24 hours.

I painted the back of my 125 gallon with Pacific Blue spray paint and it took about 3 coats. Then a few days later i sprayed over it with Flat Black.

Fish adjust their color to the surroundings, the lighter the tank, the paler the fish.

IMO, black is best. It does not show algae, does not grow algae, does not need to be cleaned, everything looks better, stands out more in front of it.

I Agree, I Just Finished Painting My 210 Black And It Looks Good, Plus It Matches The Black Aga Overflows. ALSO, POWERHEADS, PUMPS, ETC. ARE USUALLY BLACK SO THEY BLEND IN BETTER.

Okay I finally painted the tank. I picked a navy blue which came out a really nice looking blue. I like it so much that I am now going to paint my 75 gal the same color.
