pair 2 maroon's

If I purchase 2 small maroon's, does anything think they will be too teritorial, or is there a good chance they could pair up?!?

they will fight to the death. best way to do it is to get two of such size difference that it leaves no doubt who the dominant fish is and the small one submits right away.

That's what I did with mine, they fought a little but they are very happy now.

She beat the crap out of him for 2 days, then just chased for a few more, then she decided she liked him.

i am in the process of pairing mine too. the previous female died

i got an one-inch baby who's in a safe house now.

Thats what I did. I put the little guy in and saw him get kick around. Then put him in a little see through contaner for a day. After that I let him back out and now there a pair and I am ohh so happy :happy:

I bought mine the same size and one just grew fast and became more dominant, now they share my BTA and lay eggs every few weeks.
