I have an old true percula clown fish, just wondering if I added a small/young true percula clown would there be a chance of them eventually pairing off?
Yes, I have done it. The male from my long time pair developed a lump on his lip and died - I bought a much smaller clown and my female accepted it. They have since layed a couple batches of eggs.

My clownfish is around 2 years old and has NEVER had another clownfish in the tank with it.....could it still pair off with a small new one? I'm thinking it could from what you said above, but I just wanted to explain my situation more...What do you think?

+1 - I did it as well, losy a male bought another that was much smaller than the existing. They female beat him up a bit but after a few days they never are apart.
I have done this two times. The trick is to get a juvenile that is much smaller than the clown you have. The smaller the better. Both times I did it there wasn't any fighting, it was instant submission and acceptance from the female.
