Pairing of Lions

I was looking at setting up a 46 gal bowfront next spring, as a Predator tank. I was wondering if it possible to house 2 species of lions together. What I was looking at was a Fuzzy Dwarf and Dwarf Zebra. Also, what else would you suggest putting in there or would anyother fish be overkill. Me personally I'd be happy with just the two of these guys. Thanks for any answers.

Those two would work out fine together if u get em to eat. Just make sure u set up a bunch of caves with the rock u put in, cuz they like to chill out in caves and crevices. Other fish?? Maybe a dwarf angel or sumthing of the sort, but other than that, yer pretty much set on fish. Maybe a 6 line wrasse, or some sort of a larger gobie, but theres that possibility of getting eaten.

Also, be sure to add enough filtration, look into adding more water into the system with a sump or large wet-dry, and a skimmer. RO/DI water and UV-Sterilizers are good as well since dwarf lions have a tendency of getting bacterial infections.
Filtration is especially important in a tank like the 46 bow. Dwarf lions do best with about 30 g each, so you'll want that water in the 46 to be extremely clean if you're keeping two, especially given the tendency for infection as i mentioned above.

Appreicate the advice...already have all the RO/DI water I can handle, wife has a reef tank. Also already planned on hooking up a wet/dry to this tank. What I might have to do is figure out which one I like better, and just go for one, till I can get the room for a larger tank.

Cool, I think you'll be fine in that case. I've kept waaaay too many dwarf lions, and then only thing that worries me is bacterial infections, mainly popeye. So your RO/DI water will go a long way in solving a lot of that.
