people .... this has been hashed out in another thread.
I agree it was getting out of hand, but all involved apologized instead of dragging it out and getting the thread locked. (although i think it still might be)
let's just move on.

no, it's not cute to wear PJs in public... it's sloppy.
What about if you just have to run to the corner to pick up some beer?
IMHO, guys should have 2 key characteristics: (1) don't really care how we look (outside of professional life), and (2) we need beer.
This being said, I have made many sloppy, disheveled trips to the corner liquor store when I'm out of beer. You gotta do what you gotta do.

I will not leave my house without getting dressed and looking in the mirror first. That is just me though. If it is a quick run to the store early in the morning or late at night then I think it is acceptable, as long as the PJs are appropriate. It doesn't bother me when I see others do it. I wouldn't though.

I only wear pajamas to the store when I am so sick dressing would take more effort that I have and all I am gouing in for is nyquil (or something else to put me temporarily out of my misery)
wal mart is defiantly a place to go see pajamas on people who dont care a whit about their apperance or health.

but up here the 1st and 15th of the month, wal mart is packed with people blowing their foodstamps and cash portion of their food stamps. fridays are ridiculous too.

The 2am walmart crowd is pretty ineresting. I would rather shop at target than walmart, nicer store, and not as nasty.
Hilarious walmart story from my childhood. I was about 5, aand was walkking through walmart with my mom, when some BIG woman walked by me. She had a wifebeater on, and thats all (nothing for support if you know what i mean). so as she walks by one of the twins pops out, and the woman doesnt even care. My mom FREAKS out, telling the woman that she needs to be more modest, that kids are walking around the store.
The woman starts yelling(very drunk), and people start yelling back at the lady. So the manager tells them they have to dress her appropriately, or get out. So the burly guy with her says "fine, she'll just wear my shirt". He takes his white undershirt off, puts it on her, and now hes shirtless. The start walking back through walmart, thinking it was ok. the manager threatens to call the cops, so they leave.
Gotta love it.

I dont own a single pair of sweat pants. I dont like the feel of them. (weird I know)
only own 2 pairs of PJS, because my finacee bought them for me. I've always just thrown on a pair of jeans or shorts, when the need to go out in public arises. last time I was sick though I was so glad I was wearing Pjs becvause I dont think I had the energy to pull on any article of clothing driving the 2 blocks to the convinience store was almost too much.
