Not a Palin fan, but her state is so rich its giving citizens checks (rebates / share of profits) from the excess in taxes the state is getting from Big Oil companies.
That said...the McCain campaign should be footing the bill not Alaska.

Think about it her KIDS are YOUNG she sold the PRIVATE JET that the Governor had to fly around in before she took office. She raises her kids I looked up what the kind of plane she sold cost to run and for the flights listed she took them on it would have cost the State of Alaska OVER 100 Thousand dollars if they had the Private plane yet the fact she has saved the taxpayers over 75 thousand dollars yet they are screaming about it.

Is it the citizens of Alaska complaining, or just all the Obama folks in the lower 48?

al politicians travel on the tax payers dime. Has been that way for a longtime.
Obama traveled to Russia, Ukraine, Israel, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, South Africa, Kenya, Djibouti and Chad. in his first years as senator.

If this is your reason for not voting for someone then you will never vote. But for some reson I doubt you were going to vote the republican ticket anyway...

Did you complain when Obama changed the location of his Democratic speech and cost the taxpayers in crazy security costs??
Didn't McCain get just as much for security?

That's alright. Go read the report on the ridiculous amounts of money both parties have spent on wardrobes and makeup to make them look all pretty during their campaign rallies. Here's a report where the RNC spent $150,000 just for clothes and makeup for Palin --

Hey, they raised the money for their campaign. Guess if they want to spend it making their VP candidate look even better than her beauty contest pictures, why not?

I think the toll is more like $462,000 w/ $150,000 being clothing alone from places like Saks Fifth Ave. Don't quote me but I heard the report last night. $4,500 for make up and hair.
It does seem pretty ridiculous.

I heard something about Mrs McCain's outfit being something like $30K and had $1 million worth of jewelry on at RNC Convention.
But you've got to admit... that is a lot for clothing... something like 140 suits at $1000 a pop.
