paranoia is setting in

Okay i know that this is irrational but i was putting some final touches in my new 150g and the seals along the inside corners are smaller than i am used to. its driving nuts but the tank is already half full so i cant reseal. the other thing is (and this is just something i have always wondered) even though the bottom glass is tempered it still makes me nervous that all of the weight will come crashing through the tank. if someone could just smack some sense into me i would feel much better. thanx in advance.

I wish I could help you. If you dont want the unsightly lines of silcone try covering them with wood corner peices to match the stand and canopy. Thats what I did and it looks sweet.

This is supposed to be a hobby. As with hobby's, one is supposed to get enjoyment out of them...not worry themselves to death...
One thing is for certain...if your tank's seals are not good...the tank will leak. If the tank leaks...drain it and start over....
If the tank doesn't leak...you're good to go, correct?
Of course a solid wet/dry vac on hand helps ease the worry too...do you have one?

Oh and also...worry about something constructive...like for example...how pissed is the wife gonna be when she sees the $150.00 new fish equipment charge in the checkbook....

"SMACK!!!" Everything will be fine. Look at all the people that have live rock stacked to the top of their tanks with no problem. Your gonna be ok. Step back, take a deep breath, relax and enjoy your new tank. If your still worried after that I will come pick the tank up bring it to my place set it up for you and you can come see it when ever you want. That way if it bursts I will have to clean up the mess!:D Yeah I think that is a great deal! You can still stock it with you favorite fish. It would be all the enjoyment with none of the risk! :D
Your gonna have a lot of fun with your tank for years to come so don't worry.;)

It sounds as though you may have misrepresented the truth to your wife about a certain tank...
But hey...no one can be perfect right?
Mine says no more as well (2 now)...we shall see...
