Parasite indentification

Hey guys, Got this Banggai cardinal at LFS last weekend and I came home today and saw this white stringy poop looking stuff. Can someone point me in a direction please?

It's fish poop. He's taking a crap, and having success at that......PRIVACY PLEASE

jayking...if you are still referring to the pic, that is not a parasite, it is fish poop. His death is most likely unlated to this normal act that all fish do (poop).
Did you see the Bang eat at all during the week that you had him? Was he in a quarantine tank? How did you acclimate him? What are your water params? What other livestock is in this tank?
 
thats why they say never push while pooping u can poop out ur guts, i doubt thats a parasite mayb just a serious case of the runs. or could be
a Threadworm
Threadworms are internal fish that sometimes emerge from the fish's anus. This parasitic infestation can be fatal if not treated in time. Preferred treatment is parachlorometaxylenol soaked fish food and a bath in the same for several days (dosage 10ml/ liter).
