i have a bunch of little dudes on the glass and on some of my LR. they look like little "@"'s. they need to be scraped off and they are kinda tuff to get off. the tank has been running about 4 months now. i got about 35 lbs of rock, about 20 of it was LR from LFS. what are these and will they become an issue?

i agree..youll get them with a new tank but they go away eventually.. and totally harmless as well

ive never seen one that big. they can get a little bit more "chunky" in appearance.
ive had them pretty bad all over my power heads, it felt pretty gross touching them one time when i had to unclog the pump.
they feel like barnacles or something lol
they lasted maybe a year or so, then that was it, they were gone
i have a baby snail boom in my tank now, oddly the tank is three years old, someone must have had babies :D
