Right now in the aquarium there are multiple Threads all of which are making fun of people of different sexual orientation then the person writing.
I am very saddened to see this on these boards, We should be tolerant of each other. Besides the fact while chatting on line you have no idea who is on the other end of the post and what emotion you will cause by what you write.
I, personally, am heterosexual and am happily married, however I have many friends, co-workers and family members who have different sexual orientations then I. While I may have been raised to believe that this was wrong - as an adult I have grown to understand it is the person that matters.
I don't understand why there is such a need for all these derogatory comments to be thrown around. Keep in mind there could be people being turned away from this board because of comments made - and we can always use someone knowledgeable or a newbie that might need some help - and only the poor little fishes will suffer
Ok I will get off the soap box now -
P.S. - I have already advised my child (5) if he ever takes a picture like this he better understand that I will skin him and then show everyone he meets from that day forward that picture including his future boss, mother in law and Children. he responded - that's gross mommy

While you are trying to explain that it's wrong. I thinks it's funny that you felt the need to explain yours, so not to be confused with others.
It's wrong regardless, so you don't need to set it up with what your sexual orientation is, correct?

This is the part I hate about this job. I have to read this bilge day after day, and close the offensive ones or selectively delete the dumb ones.
I realize this is the Aquarium forum, but everyone else needs to know that it should remain clean as well. Lately there have been a lot of ...."Liberty" shall we say with regards to what is posted here, and it has been noticed by the general public. We get comments all the time. I would suggest that a few of you might want to think about what topics you cover in this forum and the innuendo that you use.
A long time ago we had this forum, but it was closed do to some who abused the privilage of this off topic area, I would hate to see it happen again.
