I have a few questions about them:
1) Is a 125gal big enough?
2) are lions, triggers, and eels compatible?
3) do they need lots of live rock and coral?
Thanks!

1. A 125 is not even close to being big enough for parrots.
2. Most triggers will shred lions. If you really want a trigger and a lion, I would look into either getting a niger trigger or blue throat. That's about it.
3. Parrotfish need A TON of live rock and coral to graze off of. That is the only thing that they will eat for nourishment.

I saw one and was going to buy it last week. It was all white with a orange ring around its face. But in the fish book it said needs 330 gallon tank and grows up to 13 inches I believe :happyfish

Probably a Bi-Color Parrot.
Most Parrotfish are not suitable for the home aquaria.

They are all over Florida. We got to see them when we went snorkling at Looe Key, they were all over in the marina at Bahia Honda. They get HUGE, I would love to have one if they were dwarf or miniature. Best to leave these big beauties in the oceans.

I agree, DEFINITELY not suitable for a 125g. We had a terrible time trying to keep them at the aquarium I worked at. require a lot of dedication to keep them (and the aquarist on that system was not the above). Basically had to make plaster feeding blocks with nori, spirulina and several other things added to it. Yes, similar to the vacation blocks of food....a lot of effort. One of the fish I do not like to see being sold in an LFS.

I Have a Bi color parrot and he is doing just fine, he eats seaweed and brine shrimp when he wants, i usually see him eating off of the rocks but i'm sure thats not enough for that size fish, one time i was changing the rocks around and he was dead asleep and i touched it for a while and it just stood still, nice fish,

I hope it gets more than brine shrimp. At least try much more diversity in the diet. Brine shrimp is very very poor nutritionally.

Well, you never know...

And, jr2857...The Triggers, besides the Blue Throat, were all juveniles and hadnt started showing aggression due to territory yet. If they had been left in the tank, I have no doubt that they wouldve started picking on the Lion, even though he was 15".

Excuse me, however, if you look at what I said in my original statement, I said, "If you really want a trigger and a lion, I would look into either getting a niger trigger or blue throat. That's about it."
Thus, it is not in my face because I alrady suggested that that is okay.
