You havent had that Niger or Volitan long enough to know if there's going to be any aggression or not. Fish, when young/small (like yours) have to mature a little before instinct kicks in for territory etc.
In another 6 months, it could very well be a different story and your Niger could start picking on your Volitan.

definitely. This is usually the case with people saying that they keep their volitan with a clown trigger.It may work for a while, but more times than most, the trigger goes after the lion eventually.
