Party Lights?

Okay just got back from Walmart to get some light timers, and I was looking around and found a blue GE 25watt party light bulb. I was wondering if I could use this as a moonlight. I was just going to clip the lamp on the stand and shine it from outside the glass. Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I know nothing about lighting.

i wouldn't, the lights we use, are not only chosen because of color, but also spectrum and intensity.
these 3 things combined, affect the growth and health of the tank inhabitants. including your corlas and or algae(both wanted and unwated may do better or worse, normally it is NOT for the better when we experiment with unwanted light spectrums)
