I predicted it at the beginning of the playoffs.....Colts will win the game (hopefully) with an Adam Vinatieri field goal.....

i really wanted to see S.D. win, the interception-fumble and Rivers mis-management of the last 70 seconds cost them the game. any ways, being a Bucs fan go Colts, love to see Tony win and Tom Brady suffer a huge loss

Let's go Colts!! Hopefully, Manning will finally put the critics and cynics to rest when he beats Brady and the Pats in the playoffs and takes the Colts to the SuperBowl.
After the way the Chargers played, I did not want to see them win. Come on, when you have a guy like Tomlinson, why is he not getting the ball more? Brady through 52 passes because he IS the Patriots. Tomlinson IS the Chargers. Give him the ball. Throw it to him.
And what the heck was that challenge by Schottenheimer?! That was ridiculous. The time management at the end was awful too.
Nate Kaeding certainly deserved to be named to the Pro Bowl and to be on the AP All-Pro team.

I can't stand Brady. I just can't see Indy beating them. We could have a repeat of the 85 Super Bowl... hopefully with the same results.

That would be great! However, I think the Colts will probably come on on top.
Last week I said it would be Pats v Colts, Saints v Bears, and Bears v Pats in the SB. I think I'm leaning more towards Bears v Colts, now. Either way there will be some good games next weekend!

i think the colts deserve to win a superbowl, but its not looking for them, the pats and tom brady have lost one play off game of the last how many . the pats have a way of making things happen when it counts. and the cults have a streak of choking when it counts.

I'm sick of Tom Brady. I couldn't stand Jon Elway, I can't stand him. They both have that smirk that pisses me off.
I'm rooting for Indianopolis vs. Bears, Bears in the end.

The Chargers lost the game based on two basic coaching "goofs". Marty should NEVER have challenged that play. He lost a timeout which was needed. There was NO clear evidence that the play would be overturned....ZERO. Second, with 8 seconds left he had time for one more 5-7 yard out with reception and the receiver getting out of bounds . Rivers could also have fired the ball out of bounds if the receiver was covered. A 5 or 6 second play. The mismanagement was ALL on Marty Ball IMO.

My wife who watches maybe 2 games a year even asked why they weren't running one more play to get them at least another 5 yards. Marty screwed the pooch!

The Bears have to get past the Saints...not an easy win for them. THeir late season and playoff defense is nowhere near the level it was through the first 10 games of the season. THey have two starters out...and they have to find a way to shut down that Saints offensive machine.
They will have to play MUCH better on D this week......as the SAints O has more weapons than Seattle.

ididnt realize they were short 2 starters, is that why they are getting run on up the middle. thats a big negative against the saints, if they load up for the run- brees gonna have a field day. cant wait....

They are without Tommie Harris and Mike Brown, two probowl caliber players and two guys they need to play dominating defense. The last 6 weeks they have played average defense and have given up a lot of yards through the air. The reason being, their pass rush is weak and when you play the cover 2 you need a solid pass rush otherwise the QB will have time to exploit the gaps in it and trust me, their D has a lot of gaps. I'd love my Bears to win and for them to do so they need to step it up and play a lot better and I hope it's an ugly field next weekend to slow down all the weapons the Saints have.

Even with poor field conditions ...The Saints can pound Deuce at you. What makes this O so tough...they can play pound the rock...or they can throw the rock around the park. So..what do you stop? You cheat the safeties up for run support and the Saints will play long ball....you play the safeties back and the Saints will pound the rock with Deuce and Reggie.
It most be tough for defensive coord's to devise a scheme to contain all the weapons. A sloppy field will help...but Chicago will have to stop the Deuce Hoss. Chicago does not have a power back IMO...so stopping the run on such a field may be easier for the Saints.

Yes, 2 are out.....and Tank Johnson another starter has some legal problems off the field so he is distracted. I've not been following that story too closely but he is facing some serious charges...he has legal troubles. He did not play in a few games down the stretch due to these problems. The Bears have lost some of their momentum on D due to injuries and a player in off-field trouble. Bears appear weak up the middle vs the run. If their tackles to not dominate it allows the O line to get to the second level backers which will somewhat netralize the impact of Urlacher. He will not be free to flow to the ball if he has a O Lineman in his face each play.
