Don't take yourself too seriously. I was only joking around. Sorry if I offended anyone. I thought it was kind of mild. I didn't even use profanity. Well the last part I wasn't joking so I'll say it again Peyton got the endorsement deals because they couldn't get Brady.

Average age on this site is about 18 so the mods try to police the site and delete posts that are viewed in poor taste with this in mind.
I assume the mods have no way of knowing when one is serious or joking...especially if there is no indication it is a joke.
The fact it got deleted is an indicaton it was inappropriate for this site...regardless of intent.
Never offended me personally...I jsut thought it lacked class if there was an ounce of serious intent.
It's all good.

A post does not need profanity for it to be offensive. Your post talked about hate-fueled and unneccessary violence.
I do not personally get offended by much either, but there were a few others who were very upset with the language and content of it.

I'm not trying to drag this out. However if it really were about language, content and hate fueled violence then the whole "Saddam Hung" thread would have been deleted as well. There are many posts on there that make mine look tame. I feel like mine was deleted because of who it was talking about rather than language and content. Had I had substituted Saddam's name in that post instead of Peyton Manning would my post still be here?

This is a thread about football. THe coorelation you are drawing does not hold. Also, if some folks beleive it to be offensive it most likely will be deleted in this forum if reported.
It did not personally offend me...although I viewed it in poor taste originally..as there was nothing to indicate it was a joke. You also have a record of not liking Manning on this thread...so I certainly made an assumption you were serious and responded accordingly
What offends folks on one thread may not offend others. If you offend a couple and it gets reported...it is likely to get nuked.....regardless of what you or I might think is appropriate or inappropriate.

The coorelation does hold. I am talking about the content of language and violence in the posts, which is why my post was deleted. In the other thread there is talk of chopping off a head and sticking it on a flag pole, chopping someone into pieces and sticking them in a cage and urinating on them. Mine was no worse than that.
