Pb tang will not eat.Please help.

Recently got a pb tang 3 days ago.He won't eat.I tried feeding him Frozen food,flake food(formula 2)romain lettuce and just recently algae sheets.Seems like no matter what I do he won't eat:( Could someone please help?
P.S.-Also tried to feed useing the garlic method and that doesent work either.No matter where I put the food in the tank he swims away from it.

Relax...3 days not eating is not unusual. If he was eating when you bought him , chances are if acclamated ok, he will eat again. Are you quarentining? If not you should , especially a fairly sensitive fish like the PB. I assume you mean Powder blue.
Nori or seaweed selects s/b kept in the tank on a lettuce clip at all time. Keep water conditions optimum. Watch him closely because the first two weeks will be the most crucial. I also hope you are planning on putting him in well established tank .
More details on setup and tankmates w/b helpful.
Good luck. They are great fish once you get them acclamated and eating.

How is his health otherwise? Swiming normally? Color good? Behavior?
What kind of tank do you have? What other fish are in the tank?

Came home from work tonight and fed the fish and he ate:D :D The brine shrimp worked(with some clam)I feel much better now:) His tank mates are a sailfin tang,French angel,and a leaf lip grouper.all in a 135 gallon tank with protein skimmer.No live rock ...Yet:) T all of you that took the time to help me thank-you very muchand have a happy holiday!!!!!!
P.s-Almost forgot,his color is great and he swims all over the tank.
