Upon opening the container of Chemi-pure i realized it comes in a nifty little bag...... Still leaves me with the question on the Purigen. Also with the purigen it says 250mL for 250g. Is it safe for me to add all the purigen to the tank or should i be mesuring out a specific amount.

those work fine... Just do what i did and when/if you get ther bag cut about 4 inches off because they are quite long
From now on tho try and buy the prebagged purigen alot easier that way and cheaper

Glad you got all your stuff delivered. Now comes the fun part. I got a 10 watt submersible light online for about 19 plus shipping. its from some pond place i think. private message me and ill send you the link. It works well, i have already seen some growth in the chamber. The one you posted is probably too big. The one i got is like the size of half a sharpie marker. All of my media came prebagged fortunately. I think that I am going shopping tomorrow for the return pump and a couple other things. I'll let you know how that goes. I am just running stock lights so no sps or anenomes or clams in my future but I figured right now for my income I got plenty to keep me busy. A year down the road maybe get another cube and go

looks good but skip the hemit crabs.. all they do is kill snails for a bigger shell

Yea dude, you don't need the hermits. While they will scavenge I think most people just get them so there is something moving around in the tank. I'm sticking with snails. peppermint shrimp are pretty entertaining. they do this swaying back and forth while they hang from rocks, its hilarious. They are usually nocturnal so you may not see them with your lights on unless you put food out then they will sometimes come snag it and bring it back to their lair.
