You may want to throw in about 5 cerith snails too, they work pretty good at eating poo and stuff out of your sand. But the rest looks good. Cleaner shrimp are more expensive but its because they are rad. I'd opt for that if I was you. What kind of live sand did you buy btw? Did you use the mj 900 as a return pump replacement. I swapped mine last night and the flow is way better.

I bought the 10lb sand pack from SWF, it looks really nice. Yes i did get the Maxi900 for my return pump, it helps a ton.
I think i might just get the cleaner shrimp. TY

Ok I really want to get the lights upgraded before i start adding any live stock.
I would LOVE to keep some sps and cool corals in this tank. What are your thoughts on pc lighting in the 12g?
With the stock hood from a certain unmentionable site they have several options available.
The stock hood comes with 2X24Watt PC
I can upgrade to:
3X24Watt PC
or
4X24 Watt PC
OR............................
70w HQI + 36w PC
I know the obvious choice would be the HQI BUT really how much of a difference am i going to see over the 96Watt PC?
