PC 10k color ??

I have a coralife pc strip with one actinic and one 10k. I also have a NO strip with an actinic and a 10k light. I noticed that the PC 10k appears more yellow in color than the regular NO 10k fixture. Are pc 10k lights usually yellowish in color? Should I get a 20k or something to get a whiter look ?

I use the pc's 10,000K and they appear white. Is the bulb that you have new? How many watts is the ballast, and bulb?

I bought it brand new from Hellolights about 2 weeks ago. It definately looks yellowish.

I recently purchased a retro kit with 2 10Kk/Actinic combos. Proceeded to break a plug on one of them and replaced it with one from All-Glass. Both are brand new but the All-Glass is much more blue. Seems to just be a manufacturing issue. Now I have to decide which I like as far as looks...

The one you got from all-glass was a 10k also then ? Maybe I can get a replacment bulb from hellolights and try it.
