PC lighting cycle question

I have 2x36W PC with a slimline fixture. It has the little ballast where the lights are wired together, then plugged into the ballast with a quick connect clip. Then there is a switch on the ballast for the actinic and one for the daylight. Is there any way that I can put a timer on the two bulbs separately so I can provide a somewhat natural light cycle without having to reach under the stand in the morning and evening to flip switches.
Any suggestions?

you would have to "rewire" the entire setup so you have seperate power supplies for the actinic bulbs and the white bulbs. Then you could put them on timers. It might be more trouble than its worth- unless you are an electritian and know how to do the wiring.

I know how to do the wiring, but I don't wanna. I was hoping that some company might have had the intelligence to make an inline timer, but dreams come and go I guess.
