pc lighting life?

what is the life span of power compacts? i have had mine on the tank for a little over a year.i am running the coral life retrofit kit with 2 blue actinic 03/7100k and 2 white 6700/10000k 65w bulbs. i have not notice a difference in the light but i have been reading about algae problems with old lights.(which i am getting) if anyone could help me with this that would be great and thank you ahead of time.

When I ran PCs, I would replace the bulbs every 6 months for 10,000K or 50/50's and 9-12 months for actinics.

change them out every 10 months... cuzz any longer that that you are jusy wasting $$ on electric cuzz the bulbs are soo dull..

i have the same light bulbs and my coral is not opening as it use to. my 2-50/50 IS about 7months old and 2 daylight bulbs are 3 months old. wondering if the coralife lights are even good. ANYways how is your corals doing? thinking about chaging the whole light system.
