I have a question regarding the current lighting I have on my reef tank. First off, the tank is a 92 gallon corner tank that is 24" deep.
The lighting fixture I have is a Customsealife 36" 2-96W PC w/fan. The bulbs I am using are:
96 w 6700 ultra daylight twin tube and a 96w utlra actinic.
My question is: each bulb fixture has two bulbs for a total of 4 bulbs. Does this mean that I have 4x 96 watts for a total of 384 watts or is it really just 2 x 96 watts for 192 watts?
I believe it is probably 2 x 96 for 192 watts and view this as not enough lighting. With this being said, please answer the wattage question first and if possible and needed offer sugestions on how to increase and improve my lighting. I currently have a BTA that has split twice a RTA and a brain coral that appear to be doing fine, but I want to make sure they have enough light.
Thanks,
