I have a ? I just picked up a used set up 2x175 MH with 2x65 PC Hamilton retro . Heres my ? I have a 210 FOWLR with PC now should I use this on the tank or not .

Technically you don't have to. All it will do is speed up your algea growth, up the heat level, and stress out the fish.
But if you plan on switching to a reef in the future that is an asset!!!

unless your going to do corals, anemones, or clams i see no need for mh lighting.

yea, if you want a reef, very good, and this will help a bunch. but there is no need if you have a fish only or fish only with live rock

I know Its not needed but MH lights look better "just my thought"

I agree, I would have MH even if I was doing a FOWLR because they "just look better" to me, but that's just me....
