is power compact and compact florescent the same type of lighting? and is a satellite pc fixture 2x40 dual actinic, dual daylight, with one lunar good for a 20g?

Yes, PC and CF are one and the wsame. One is a term coined by a major lighting company when they were first introduced, but compact flor and power compacts are one and the same. Yes that light is fine for a 20 gal as long as your commtted to shrooms, zoos and leathers, etc they will do just fine. There is alot of corals that do fine under that type lights in that sized tank.
