PD need your help

my pink tip hatian anemone was white/cream color when i got it from SWF.com and then it turned clear white. i know its bleached as i dont have the proper lighting for it yet. getting nova pro extreme 48" soon. now half of the nem is tan in color and the other half is still bleached. ill put up a pic tonight when im home from class.

OK.. good. Yes a pic in this instance would be necessary. A close up and then a FTS too. Are you spot feeding? If so when, how much and what?

also my wild maroon just started hosting my pink tip haitian anemone about 5 mins ago

i super happy ive been trying to get my clowns to host in both my tanks!
also my nem curls up into a ball about an hour or 2 after i turn off the light. i think the anemone crabs is bothering it. when the lights com on it inflates, it this normal??

Nice, be carful he or she doesnt "love" it to death.

From the pictures I dont see anything unusual except for a bleached animal. If your spot feeding then its possible for the animal to regain some color but that doesnt mean it will be healthy. As you know your lights need to be changed soon. HTH.

ya im getting the nova extreme pro within 2 weeks. il post some pics, thanks for your help man.

Yes it is a bad thing.
Bleaching is when an anemone or coral is starved of its zooxanthellae from lack of light. When this happens its immune system is compromised and it is very week as they use this algae for energy.
