Peaceful And Semi Aggressive

I was wondering what to put in my new 125 gallon... Can I mix peaceful fish with semi aggressive? There are peaceful fish and also semi that I love.

Maybe a Lionfish cause I think the only time it becomes mean is at feeding time

No, Lions will eat anything they can fit into their mouths. And then some. So Lions can really only go into an aggressive tank, with some semi-aggressive fish that are too big to be eaten. But you can generally mix semi-aggressive and peaceful fish. There are exceptions. List the specific fish you were interested in and people on here will be able to guide you.

I want to add the following to my 125 gallon... Will they get along Ok?
1 Flame angel
1 Copperhead Butterfly
1 Raccoon Butterfly... Not sure about adding 3 Butterflys
1 Auriga Butterfly
either a Yellow Tang or a purple Tang

That stocklist looks good. Two things you need to consider though:
-Butterflies need a ton of live rock. Have at least 125 lbs., but personally, I would shoot for about 150-160 lbs. for them to live and thrive.
-Butterflies need very mature aquariums, so they would need to be added when the tank is at least 6 months establshed.

There a few different Tangs you can keep in a 125, including Hippo. And I agree on what the previous poster says about Butterflies and a well-established tank.
