i tested my water on friday and all my readings were through the roof. ammonia, nitrites, nitrates, all sky high. my ph was too low so i added some buffer. i dont even think there were colors that matched up to the color the water was turing in the test kit, so im assuming that my tank is at the peak of its cycle. i'm assuming that i cycled my tank with 200 lbs of live rock(it wasn't fully cured). now my only question is, what is going to bring all these readings down or do they just do it on their own or should i do a water change? my second question is, what fish should i add that is harty enough to survive in a new tank like mine that is just about to finish its first cycle? and also how long will it take for these readings to drop down to 0 from the peak?
the types of fish i wanted are
1-2 yellow tangs
1-2 lunare wrasses
1 zebra moray eel
1 imperator angel
2-3 blennies
1 boxfish
1 pufferfish
cleaner shrimp, snails, crabs, etc.
of all these things what can coexist in a tank together?
i am aware that i probably cant fit all those in my tank. i have a 180 gallon tank with 200 lbs live rock and 290 pounds live sand. are any of those fish harty enough to survive in my tank within the next week or so?
