I have narrowed it down to two angels.... the coral angel and flame angel... what do you all think about adding one of these to a reef tank they are both dwarf angels... thanks for your input......

I got a flame angel in my reef, and he only bothers my feather duster sometimes. Other than that everythings fine.

no clams here. I heard it a toss up weather the flame is reef safe. You might get a reef safe one, you might not.

I've heard it's a toss up as well. I recently added a Coral Beauty...I'm red/green colorblind, so the flame angel doesn't do much for me. Anyway...I think she's pecked at a feather duster once...everything else has been fine. I can't complain, but I think it depends on the particular fish and their personality.

I've had both in my reef. The flame never did any real damage but he did nip things at times and he sometimes bullied the clownfish. The coral beauty, however, was the sweetest fish that ever lived. I think there is a slight risk with a flame and much less risk with a coral beauty.

I had a coral beauty in my tank. Loved it. So colorful and full of personality. Never touched any of my corals or other fish. Perfect fish! Now I have a Bicolor angel and love it even more than the coral beauty. It swims right up to the other fish like they arent even there! So cool. So for my two angels, neither have nipped anything. I say pick which one you like most. Its your tank!

I have 2 GSM's with my Coral Beauty...no bullying at all. The female GSM owns the tank, no one argues that. The Coral Beauty has a ton of personality...no doubt about it. Almost like she's flirting with whomever is watching. Her coloring is awesome...lots of blues and a bright gold stomach. I hadn't seen a stomach this bright on any other that I had seen. My wife is always skeptical when I buy a new fish. The Coral Beauty is by far her favorite.
