pencil urchin question

I have a tank that is in the midst of being moved/dismantled. One of the inhabitants still present is a pencil urchin (or what looks like a pencil urchin: blunt spines, reddish color, 3.5' diameter). I also have another tank already set up (probably about 2 yrs old). Can I just move the urchin over to the new tank? Or do I have to drip acclimate? And might the urchin be compatible with the other inhabitants (Fundulus, hermit crabs, small snapping shrimp)?

Are the two tanks plumbed together??? if not, you will have to acclimate to the new tank. If they are, just drop him in.
He willb e fine with those inhab
