Pepperment Shrimp Swaying??

I Just Got A Pepperment Shrimp Yesterday And When I Put Him In There He Went Hid Behind My Rock Then This Morning I Seen Him Swaying BACK AND FORTH And Wont Stop...is That What They Do? I Never Had One Before So I Dont Have A Clue..

Mine does the same thing - i'm thinking it is something of a defense mechanism, as if they were swaying w/ the current among debris.
