I wish I took a before pic of this tubs blue rock. There was a minimum of 20 aptasia on it. Yesterday I bought 12 shrimp and put them in my quarantine setup. Then put this rock in.
Today, aptasia all gone.

I was amazed when my lone pep in my 75 ate through about 250 of those little buggers. Also he has survived living with my niger trigger. We will see how well he does against the lion in the future.

I'm floating 4 right now in my 75. I'd love to put a few in my 90 but between the 2 coral bandeds and the wrasse I got yesterday.....let's just say they wouldn't last too long.

My two coral banded shrimp have been living with my three peps and two cleaners for months. They shouldn't be eating your peppermint shrimp I don't think.

Coral banded shrimp will not harm other shrimp. My pep and cb get along just fine.

Hey grouper do you have any issues with your pep eating your zoanthids?
Doesn't look like they messed with any on that rock. I just got the peps yesterday. I can't even find a remnant of aptasia on it. Unreal.
BTW, the other thing that keeps me from putting peps in my 90 is my new Pinstripe wrasse (Halichoeres melanurus) and my fuzzy dwary lion. I feed the lion Krill the same size as the peps.
