Hey,
Once they settle in they will be out most of the time, even if just hanging in an opening of lr. They really move around when food hits the water! One whiff of chow and they come running.

mine are for the most part pretty nocturnal, but i still see them during the day sometimes, but usually underneath something or in some type of seclusion.
