Peppermint shrimp??

Has anyone had there peppermint shrimp give birth before??? Mine just did and there are HUNDREDS of them in the tank......what can i do to save a few?? Any idea's, experiences??? Thanks!!!

Consider it free food. I believe it's very hard to raise any fry. Someone may be able to direct you to some informative threads, I cant think of any off hand right now.

My tank had a feast that night. i didn't think any would live but it was cool to watch. thanks for the response!!!

I keep 5 peppermints...2 skunks...and 2 blood reds...all have produced off spring on occassion. To my knowledge none have ever lasted more than a few days. I don't make any attempts to save them...and really have no idea how that could be done. I suppose some folks may have success raising the young uns ... but around here they are part of the natural food chain of New Mexico Reef.
Sad...but true!
