peppermint shrimp

i think that they are good for getting rid of aiptasia. i cant get mine to live that long tho. usually the way it works is if i see an aiptasia i will go out and buy 3 peppermints and the aiptasia will be gone in a day or two, however soon after they eat the aiptasia i cant find the peppermints either. the good things is that there cheap. i would not buy them to look at as they like to hide alot also. and something else is to make sure you are getting peppermints and not camel shrimp as the are similar. camel shrimp are the ones that will pick at your corals.

They are somewhat reef safe. They will definately pick on zoos, and some anemone's. I returned mine. I don't have a problem with aiptasia , thank my lucky stars for that!

I have seven in a 24 gallon that I ordered off of this site. They took care of my aiptasia, but they also took care of my forest of tiny white feather dusters that I was quite fond of. Other than the dusters, they have not bothered any other corals.
:joy:
