Peppermint Shrimp

they would constantly pick at my rics, candy canes and sun polyps. When I would feed, they would reach down it the mouths of my corals and pull food out. I watched them flip or pull snails off the glass and would pick at them until they were able to get at the meat. I also saw one pick at a blue-legged hermit and finally pull it out of the shell and carry it into my rocks to enjoy a crab dinner. Now if SWF has the wrong pics of said shrimp up, and SENT me the wrong shrimp, then they are no better then a LFS.

That sounds rather strange. I'm not saying you're wrong, but that sure doesn't sound like a peppermint shrimp. My peppermint is quite peaceful, and a little shy even. The only snails that I ever saw it pick at were dead ones, as the nassarius snail were also all over it. The only thing I wouldn't trust a peppermint with are feather dusters, as mentioned already in the thread. I have seen my peppermint eating hydroids, and those small little brittle stars though.

my peppermints seem very bold at feeding time taking food from corals, and my serpent stars when ever they get the chance.
