Had some fun hand feeding my peppermint shrimp last night. Had never tried it before. Had read about people feeding theirs by hand on here so figured I'd give it a shot. He spends 99.9% of his time under a rock in the bank of the tank stuffying his little face all day long, never roaming to the front of the tank. As soon as I stuck my arm in the front of the tank he crawled out, looked at it for a sec, and jumped right on and started picking at my arm. He had not interest what so ever to get off. I then smeared some flake food on my arm and he picked it right off, lol. In any case, a friend was over and watching me and said "Don't they sting?". Never heard of shrimp (especially this guys size) stinging. Is it true that peppermint shrimp can sting you? I can't imagine him doing much damage as you can barely feel him when he is picking at your arm. I was sure it was just something he had heard from somebody who has no idea what they're talking about, just wanted to confirm.
Thanks!
