I say get the shrimp . . . yellow polyps are boring and/or cheap to replace.

i think the nudis are berghia verriconnus.they do have the tendency to get sucked up into powerheads or go down your overflow.zib,joes now has those angled tips.45 deg and 90 deg.i bought some from the website for 2.95 for two,one of each.they have helped me tremendously in reaching bad spots to nuke some majanos.....

Id just nuke the aiptasia. You might lose a few polyps but theyll grow back. Better than risking losing them all.
