Hey I hear ya, my two new Percs will not go near the BTA I have. They have decided they like one of my two huge mushrooms instead :-(
But, they might in time decide they like the BTA. They will pick what they prefer to host in.
They are such cute curious fish, I found that when I had just the one it would swim up and down the glass all day long, drove me nuts. I then got a mate for him and he quite that and they are together all the time swimming in and out of the mushrooms.
What size of tank do you have??

Have you ever thought about getting another one??
As long as the new one is of different size they will be just fine together and will pair up eventually. I never had any fighting when I put in my new one 4 days later.

From what I've heard ( I don't have clowns personally), there is no way that you can "make" them host your anemone. They will or they won't all on their own and there is nothing you can really do to make it happen.

Your fish is probably watching TV. Nothing to worry about. Some host powerheads, heaters, overflow boxes, etc. Nothing you can do. They pick a safe place. Some false percs may not host anything (so I've read).
I wonder how many people get into this hobby for this symbiotic relationship only to find out that their fish won't host?

I used to have a perc and of all things he hosted my feather duster. Looked so funny! Even more odd that the feather duster didn't mind it all.
