Perchfish

ok I bought this small fish that looked like a mini-hawkfish. Did some research and I *think* its a sandperchfish or something like that. It definitely looks like a perchfish. Anyone have any info on these type of fish?

I searched online, and couldn't find anything on a "perchfish". What color is the fish your asking about?

I dont think its a hawkfish. Colors like one and the eyes like one but its shape isnt and its too small.

One good thing, not picky about what it eats. Well I guess thats good as long as its not a tankmate

There is a conglomeration of small bottom dwelling reef fishes commonly referred to as "sandperch". Try doing a search at www.google.com with the keyword "sandperch" and see what comes up. Bo

Did all that already. Cant get any info about the actual fish. Size, habits,etc... So far I *think* its a redspotted sandperch most likely from new guinea
