Percs Hosting Our Carpet

here are some pics of our percs hosting their carpet anemone. they protect it with their lives; now that they are hosting it. it took them about a month or so to start hosting it.

is one of the most fascinating I've every seen. I can watch my Clarkii and my their purple carpet for hours.

they started hosting it while i was up at college and im going home for thanksgiving so i cant wait!

to tell u the truth, the angelfish shows no interest in nipping the anemone. he swims by it, while inspecting it, and has gone up to it a couple of times but that was to just get some food that was near it.
on the other hand, we have a raccoon butterfly that does occasionally go up to it to nip it ( as u can tell some of the nematocyts near the mouth have been nipped off. but, since the clowns started hosting it the raccoon doesnt get to it as often as he used to. whenever he does come up to it the percs will chase him off.

thanks for the comment. our rockwork has changed many times. and it changed to this while i was up at college (my younger brother and dad did it) they changed the rockwork for the queen angel. i like what they did with it, here is a full tank photo

Keep track of the clowns. I read on here before someones carpet ate a foxface and something else that was really big.
