percula chases my damsel

I just got a 3 stripe damsel for my tank and now the smaller of my 2 percs chases him. Has anyone else had this problem? Is it just part of the initiation process into the new tank? Should I get a couple more so they can school? I hope it stops and they can all get along.

Mine did this and did not stop so I had to get rid of the damsels.

Wow .. you got DOI (Damsel in Distress) .. JK .. I think your clown mistaken the damsel as black & white/saddleback percula .. unfortunatelly, the chase will not end if that is the case.

What size is the tank?
This behavior is not typical for Percula Clownfish. Are you sure it isn't an Ocellaris?

The tank is a 40BR FOWLR. They are false perculas. I think it was just a case of new tank-mate syndrome, they have calmed down a bit of the chasing. Thank goodness
