I have had a Percula Clown in my tank for about 5 days now. He took to my Sebae Anemone within a few hours and has been camped out in it ever since. I have had the anemone for about 2-3 months and he stayed in the same spot the entire time until the clown joined the team. He is now camped with his foot underneath a piece of live rock resting on the sand. He once was inside a depression in a piece of live rock totally above the substrate.
Is it normal for the percula clown to stay in the anemone all the time and not do much of anything? I haven't really seen him have much interest in eating, neither brine shrimp or pellet food. His breathing rate looks good, no signs of ich or anything else. Could he be eating algae at night and that's why I don't see him eat? What is your experience with these little guys?
