Percula Clowns Dumb?

I have a pair of tank raised percula clowns, and I have a carpet anemone, the fish dont even look at it,will they figure it out eventually or just never will need or want one?

tank raised percula clowns may have never seen an anemone before....they don't really need one. they may or may not go to...

Some clowns will not take to anemones and others prefer specific types of anemones.
The clown fish anemone relationship is a very cool addition to a tank but unfortunatly there is no guarantee it will happen.
Most of the time however the clown fish will eventually make a home out of a present anemone if the anemone is of the proper type.
I say just give it some time. Sometimes it will take a little time, weeks or even months before the clowns will take to an anemone.

to add to what you've heard already, perculas will leave something alone for a long time, then all of a sudden decide their life cannot continue without living in something. They may someday decide to live in a coral or an anemone, and after they do you'll be hard pressed to get them to desert it. This after showing no interest in it for months!
