Just added a percula clown to my tank yesterday (2-24) and he just went right up to the top in a corner and wont leave. I cant really see anything wrong with him, (I have a white sebea anenome that Im hoping he will go to). Did I get a bad clown or is he just stresed, how long to he goes to the anenome?
Thanks

Did you acclimate your clown? Well that happens to some clownfish when they are stressed. They'll just stay in one place for a while. Sometimes they'll be ok and other times they'll starve themselves. Does yours eat?

Ya I drip acclimated it, i've only fed it once since its been in there but it didnt eat. I put 2 other fish in with it (coral beauty & golden headed sleeper goby) but those are the only 3 fish in the tank and I havnt seen the beauty even go near the clown, so its not being picked on.

New fish will often take a few days to get used to their new surroundings. I would not worry about your clown right now, just keep a close eye on him for the next few days and make sure that he begins to move around and eat.
Also, if these are the first three fish that you are putting in the tank, you will want to keep a close eye on your water parameters as you may cause the tank to go into a cycle by increasing the bioload that much. I would be ready to do some water changes in the next couple of weeks if you start to notice your ammonia or nitrites going up.

OK thanks, these arent my first fish, my tank has been up since july, I had some damsels but i took them back last week because they're so agressive so these are the only 3 fish in the tank right now thats what i meant. He didnt eat the second time i fed them but he has started swimming around the perimeter of the tank instead of staying in his corner so i'll keep an eye on him, thanks for the help.
