'ello... I am thinking of adding more fish to my 65 gallon aquarium, and Im not quite sure what to put in next. I currently have a Black Volitan Lionfish (7inch), Porcupine Puffer(7inch), and a panther grouper(8inch) residing with a brittle star and various oysters. I looking to add either a small shark, ray, or something tame or colorful like the puffer or grouper, which not only I have taken a liking to, but they to me. Any Advice?

Do you really think there is enough room for anymore fish? Stick with what you have, and even start looking at a larger tank in the 120g range. Sharks and rays are not compatible with puffers as they nip their delicate fins, besides, even small sharks/rays need a good 180g+ tank.

I was planning on purchasing a 125g or a 250g+ wall/floor unit. I know either way I have to do this in the next few months shice the grouper is very likely to get ginormous.

Yes, I am glad that you know about the grouper.
However, like stated, no shark or sting ray can be kept with a puffer because a puffer would nip their eyes right out of thier head, and proceed to eat them as well.
You will definitely need the 250, as the 125 will not be large enough for the grouper.

im sorry but none of those fish you have should be in a 65 gal in fact they shouldnt be in anything under 100 gal with that mixture sharks and rays also require much larger tanks 180 for a very few species 300 and up for most others.i recomend upgrading your tank to a 125 or up before adding any other fish at all.
