Pet Shop Nori Vs Sushi Nori?

Has anyone found any difference between the nori you get at an oriental grocer(cheap) vs the seaweed you get at a LFS? I just recently bought a bunch of the human stuff. My PB tang and angel eat it, but not as aggressively as the LFS kind. Any thoughts?

Same stuff but it could be treated with different preservatives thus why there is a difference in the eating habits. Thats the only difference though. Check the packages and try and compare them and see whats actually in the product. That may give you answers.

We have been feeding the seaweed we bought at a japanese food place to our fish.We made sure to ask that it was just seaweed and not treated in any way.

The biggest difference to look out for is how it is prepared. Typically, grocery store Nori is roasted, while pet store Nori (such as Veggie Strips) is dried. Dried is a better source of nutrients for fish.
The packaging should tell you if it is dried or roasted.
